Fresh off of a performance in Washington DC the previous night, Lady Gaga was in promotional mode in New York City on Wednesday (September 30).

The “Poker Face” singer teamed up with Dr Dre, posing for pictures as she launched her new Heartbeats headphones from Monster at Gilt.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, GaGa told press that her soon-to-be touring partner Kanye West is just a guy who made a mistake, referring to his interruption of Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

“I was thinking,‘Oh gosh.’ But, like, I would say he’s a good guy and everybody makes mistakes, and he feels so f***ing bad.  I think it’s unfair to judge somebody on one mistake they’ve made. I felt like that moment kind of like really portrayed him in a way that he really isn’t. It was just a random moment.”

Out in New York City earlier today (September 30), Taylor Momsen was hard at work on set of “Gossip Girl” in Chinatown.

The blonde actress looked relaxed as she breezed through the scenes, changing wardrobes several times in between takes.

In related news, a fresh face will be joining the cast of “Gossip Girl” for a multi-episode run. Kevin Zegers is set to play the role of Damien who is described as “an international bad-boy.”

Damien will play the love interest of Jenny Humphrey (played by Momsen).  Zegers has been in several films such as “Transamerica,” Fifty Dead Men Walking,” and “Air Bud: World Pup.”

Enjoying the cool fall weather, Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri were spotted visiting the set of “Wichita” in Boston, Massachusetts today (September 30).

The “Mad Money” mommy and her adorable little girl looked to be in good spirits as they exited their chauffeured Cadillac Escalade and made their way to the set.

Meanwhile, husband/father Tom Cruise was hard at work on the film, along with costar Cameron Diaz, whom he worked with on “Vanilla Sky.”

And it looks like Tom was in for some serious action, as he prepped to shoot some scenes from the hood of a pickup truck.

She’s always looking to use her fame for the benefit of others, and last night (September 29) Katharine McPhee was spotted at the Rock a Little Feed a Lot Benefit Concert in Los Angeles.

The “American Idol” alum looked absolutely fabulous as she arrived at the event, sporting a black zip-up vest overtop a grey blouse with skin-tight black trousers and black heels.

In related news, Katharine recently teamed up with fellow celebs Alyson Hannigan, Emily Deschanel, Minka Kelly, and Jaime King to spread the word about breast cancer checkups.

The fivesome of hotties filmed a humorous video for the Funny or Die website in which the paparazzi catch shots of them giving themselves breast exams at a sleepover.

They may have shocked some by marrying so soon after meeting, but Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s love and marriage is going strong.

The “Hero” singer and her rapper hubby recently sat down with InTouch magazine where Mariah explained, “I love where I am in life right now.”

And who can blame her? Carey has much to be excited about as her new album, ”Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel” came out yesterday (September 29) and she’s already receiving Oscar buzz for her role in the upcoming movie, “Precious.”

Not to mention, she and Nick are so happily in love (he still writes her love notes after a year-and-a-half of marriage) and are getting excited about starting a family in the future.

Taking care of her motherly duties, Jennie Garth was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills, California yesterday afternoon (September 29).

The “90210” actress took her daughters to school before grabbing a cup of coffee, sporting an Ed Hardy t-shirt with khaki trousers and flip-flops.

And it seems the Twitter bug has bitten Ms. Garth, as she has been busy updating her Twitter page from the set of her CW gig.

Last week she tweeted, “Back at 90210. Things aren’t looking good for Jackie Taylor. Actually filming on original 90210 stages! Weird!”

She was only 5 years old when “Sex and The City” debuted on HBO, and now 11 years later, Miley Cyrus is set to make an appearance in the movie’s sequel.

Reports are saying that the “Party in the USA” songstress does not have any lines, but instead, simply shows up to an event wearing the same dress as Kim Cattrall’s character, Samantha.

According to sources in the know, Miss Cyrus is reportedly filming her big scene on October 16th.

In other news, the singer has come down with a sickness and had to run off stage during a concert last night (September 29) in Salt Lake City, Utah. Thankfully, Miley returned to the stage about 15 minutes later and finished the show. 

Over the summer she was the victim of a stalker, and Audrina Patridge has finally obtained a restraining order to keep her safe.

The “Hills” hottie complained of a man named Zachory Loring lurking outside her home over the course of a few days and a judge saw fit to slap him with a 3-year restraining order.

In addition, Loring left a series of poems and drawings for Patridge, called “quite disturbing” by the judge who prevailed over the case.

The judge also commented that it is “unfortunate” that people like Audrina, who choose to live in the public for a career, have to “deal” with stalkers.

Taking some time out of her busy schedule, Whitney Port was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon (September 29).

The “City” cutie was joined by a few girlfriends as she meandered around Bedford Drive, visiting several beauty salons.

As for her reality TV costar Olivia Palermo, Whitney told press that they’re still not pals, though they’re able to be friendly with each other.  “Olivia and I have crossed paths a little bit at work events.  We worked together at a Longchamp event, and then we saw each other at Miami Fashion Week and so we bump into each other. But socially, we don’t really hang out. No.”

She continued, “Sometimes we check in with each other: How are you? What’s going on? Is everything OK?  But [we’re] not really super best friends.”

Always career-minded, Reese Witherspoon was spotted filming scenes for her new movie “At Bat” on location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania last night (September 29).

The “Sweet Home Alabama” actress worked alongside costar Paul Rudd, giving him a friendly kiss on the forehead in between scenes.

And it looks like Reese and Paul are a winning pair on the project, as they both took turns grabbing each other’s hair and joking around throughout the night.

“At Bat” looks like a sure-to-be hit, with an ensemble cast that boasts such names as Jack Nicholson, Owen Wilson, and Kathryn Hahn.
